Alberta Tourist respectfully recognizes the traditional lands of the many First Nations, Inuit peoples, and Métis in Alberta. we acknowledge that Alberta has been home to Indigenous communities for generations, both in the past and today. Furthermore, we respectfully acknowledge the territories of Treaty 4, 6, 7, 8, and 10, as well as their signatories. We also honour the Otipemisiwak Métis Government including the Cree, Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Dene, Saulteaux, Anishinaabe, and Inuit, among others, and also the 22 Métis Districts. Additionally, we recognize the Indigenous Peoples who reside in urban centers across this province.
